Innovation in flat-head earphones
Breaking away from conventional flat-head earphone tuning methods, DX7 adopts a new interchangeable sound tube solution for sound performance, offering two tuning styles.
After multiple experiments and refinements, controlling back cavity venting through tube filters achieves the tuning purpose mentioned above. The segmented back cavity structure divides internal air pressure channels, optimizing specific frequency band filtering paths.
- Silver tube (same color as the body): Instrument-oriented, enhancing details. Suitable for most vocal-centric or background detail-rich pop, ACG, classical, blues, and other songs.
- Blue tube: Bass-oriented, enhancing atmosphere. Suitable for mid-low frequency or atmosphere-heavy instrument types like electronic music, pop, rock, etc.
Improved dynamic driver structure
Compared to the previous DX6 long-throw dynamic driver, DX7's driver structure is thinner with a shorter rebound stroke, achieving a better balance between low-frequency rebound and high-frequency extension.
New diaphragm material
14.2mm large-size carbon element composed of a PET base layer, second layer of carbon nanotubes, and third layer of PU elements. The carbon composite diaphragm is lightweight, has a wide frequency range, good elasticity and rigidity, high temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, and is less affected by external factors like moisture.
Ergonomic, comfortable fit
For flat-head earphones, comfortable wear is a key concern for users. Based on years of experience and user feedback from the DX series, we've optimized the diameter of the earphone shell that contacts the ear, ensuring a more comfortable fit and enjoyable listening experience.
Aviation-grade 7-series aluminum alloy housing with glossy mirror finish
DX7 uses a lightweight aluminum alloy housing precision-cut by German 5-axis CNC, with surface treatments including polishing, multiple oxidations, buffing, and brightening. The complex multi-step process results in a luxurious, high-quality metal housing that's visually appealing like a work of art.
Cable selection - always top-notch
Using dual 138-core single-crystal copper silver-plated wire tuned for DX7's drivers, ensuring DX7's signature sound style. The hollow-core cable design increases flexibility and reduces wearing sensation.
Standard MMCX interface
Adopting pure copper double-reinforced female socket and expansion-type male connector designs for higher reliability and stability, effectively reducing poor contact or loosening from multiple insertions. Widely compatible with market cables, enhancing enthusiasts' ability to use their own cables.
Modular 2-in-1 plug
DX7 adopts a modular plug design, with standard 3.5/4.4mm plugs included. Users can freely match different audio interfaces, easily compatible with mainstream front-end equipment on the market.
Hi-Res certification
DX7 has obtained Japan Audio Society's "Hi-Res Audio" certification, bringing you a listening experience beyond CD quality.
