The Legacy series utilizes Thieaudio’s proprietary Nano-Membrane Dynamic Driver to create high-performance hybrid in-ear monitors. Legacy 4
Designed alongside the Legacy 5, the Legacy 4 offers a unique twist to the lineup. Considering the much-loved budget model Legacy 3 and the naturally smooth sound signature of the Legacy 5, we wanted the Legacy 4 to sit between these two models in both tuning and price. The Legacy 4 uses a brand new internal 8mm multilayered dynamic driver for the low end, offering the punchiness of the Legacy 3 and 5 but with faster speed and enhanced texture. This new driver is paired with the proven American Knowles ED29689 balanced armature (BA) and an intuitive mid-low passive crossover design, emphasizing natural midrange presentation. Compared to the Legacy 5, the Legacy 4 features a less aggressive crossover design, resulting in a more musical midrange experience with a slight warmth added to the overall signature. In collaboration with Bellsing, we developed a custom dual BA tweeter for the Legacy 4 that perfectly complements the mid-BA driver. While maintaining the smooth treble delivery of the Legacy 5, we adjusted the Legacy 4 to bring more treble presence, highlighting high-frequency overtones and details. This tuning and the super-high treble extension of our new tweeter bring a higher level of clarity and shimmer to the mix, making the Legacy 4 an excellent IEM for professional musicians and music enthusiasts. You can trust that the Legacy 4 will deliver one of the most natural, accurate, and enjoyable musical experiences among any similar IEM.
