Similar to the original Prestige, the Prestige LTD adopts an extensive and comprehensive engineering strategy. Each side of the Prestige LTD is equipped with 4 Sonion electrostatic drivers, 2 Knowles mid-high balanced armatures, 2 Sonion low-mid balanced armatures, and a 10mm dynamic subwoofer. Using a 5-way crossover tuning strategy provides extra layering and texture across the entire frequency range.
More Balanced Sound Signature
Compared to previous models, the Prestige LTD has slightly altered its tone and character. Due to the replacement of the 10mm dynamic driver, the bass range is tightened to 200Hz. The more controlled and tighter bass means that the sub-bass impact is more focused and quicker, giving the overall sound signature a cleaner profile. THIEAUDIO's traditional flat midrange extends to the Prestige LTD, offering accurate sound similar to professional studio monitor speakers. In addition to the smoothness of the ultra-high frequencies, the upper midrange and highs have been cleaned up to present a more natural high-frequency curve. Furthermore, the Prestige LTD offers a more user-friendly sound signature while faithfully reproducing professional technical capabilities.
Medical-Grade Resin Shell
Each Prestige unit is handcrafted by engineers. The shell is made from 3D-printed medical-grade resin, which is safe for the skin and durable. The shell structure is based on the V16 Divinity, known for its ergonomic design and comfort during long wear. Additionally, each Prestige panel is individually decorated and coated, providing a truly customized experience.
Premium Cable
The genuine Prestige LTD cable retains ultra-high purity 6N OCC silver-plated and graphene silver-plated wires with a Litz structure but adds extra strands, making it feel slightly thicker and richer in sound quality. Most importantly, this new genuine cable features a new modular plug design with a unique "smart switch" that allows you to choose between 4.4mm balanced, 2.5mm balanced, and 3.5mm unbalanced by swapping the plug ends. The 2-pin connectors have also been updated to ensure better compatibility with IEMs.
