For the development of the A series, final established a new evaluation method in the analysis between sound quality and its physical characteristics, which has been implemented in the flagship A8000 earphones. Generally, people listen to music recorded in various qualities at a volume most suitable for them. However, traditional evaluation methods conduct subjective evaluations under fixed sound pressure conditions, making it relatively difficult to judge sound quality in actual products. A5000 uses new research results to make judgments according to actual music listening situations.
The driver unit parts, including the diaphragm, voice coil, magnet, magnetic circuit, and types of adhesives used in various parts, as well as the production machinery, have been completely redesigned. A5000 is equipped with final's exclusively designed 6mm dynamic driver "f-Core DU". The front chamber material of the driver unit uses brass, which is less affected by magnetic force than aluminum and has a higher specific gravity. To pursue instantaneous response of the diaphragm, the coil uses 30u ultra-fine CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminum Wire) special conductor enameled wire, and assembly is carried out with the adhesive amount minimized as much as possible to lighten the moving parts. Moreover, the diaphragm is produced in 1/3 the quantity of normal mass production, with a small-quantity and refined production method to prevent pressure offset as much as possible, realizing a uniformly thin and flat diaphragm.
A5000 is designed based on the most suitable IEM body established during the development of the B series, achieving an extremely snug fit. The comfort of earphone wear depends on the sense of pressure. A5000's housing maintains overall stable wear through 3 points. Therefore, it is more suitable for a wider range of ear shapes. When the contact points have no sense of pressure at all, the comfort of earphone wear can be greatly improved, feeling like custom earphones or even more comfortable than custom earphones.
A newly designed product developed for A5000, using 8-core OFC high-purity oxygen-free copper silver-plated wire braiding, achieving soft and easily bendable characteristics for more convenient use. The 2-Pin connector is a self-developed high-precision product, adopting the common 0.78 specification.
