Improved Taste of the Coffee: Richer and Smoother.
SGS Non-Toxic Verification
The JSL Mineral Coffee Dripper is crafted from natural ceramic and mineral materials. The dripper is kiln-fired to create a three-dimensional filter structure. The mineral sand pores can filter out fine particles and impurities from the coffee that are hard to detect with the naked eye, enhancing the smoothness and enriching the taste of coffee.
The Mineral Coffee Dripper has two versions - Brown Mineral and Green Mineral. The Brown Mineral are made for beans with medium and deep roasting and the Green Mineral are for light to medium roasts. Both has two sizes - single serving and 1-3 servings.
The JSL Mineral Coffee Dripper has countless tiny pores that can directly filter and extract coffee at a certain flow rate. It is achieved by the "Stone Stream Burn" high-temperature firing technology at 1240-1260 degrees. This craft precisely controls the filter cup's thickness, weight, and density. The distribution of pores is even and uniform, creating a water flow comparable to standard coffee drippers like V60 and Kalita with paper filters.
The JSL coffee dripper, reusable and paper-filter free, requires more maintenance than traditional drippers. Post-brewing, promptly clean it, removing coffee residues, rinsing and scrubbing the filter. After 10-15 uses, deep clean to remove oils and restore flow rate. This includes boiling it with water and baking soda for 10-15 minutes, followed by another boil in clean water. For serious blockages, apply direct flame or oven treatment, leveraging its 300℃ rapid temperature change resilience. Post heat-cleaning, cool the filter on a rack, immerse in clean water and rinse multiple times to restore flow rate.
The minerals in the JSL can absorb free chlorine and pollutants in the water, inhibit the growth of bacteria and provide beneficial minerals for the water, making the taste smoother. It can also filter out excessive oil in coffee beans, and changing the overall flavor of the coffee. The Brown Mineral improves the sweetness and reduces the bitterness and astringency. The taste is thicker and is more suitable for beans with medium and deep roasting. Whereas the Green Mineral provides a brighter aroma and fresher acidic taste and is more suitable for light to medium roasts.
The design of the large 13cm diameter cup mouth is suitable for pouring water from various hand-pouring coffee pots. Whether new to hand-pouring or a pro, you can enjoy the ceremonial extraction process and easily make a good cup of hand-poured coffee, providing you with a more enjoyable experience.
It is recommended to use the filter cup stand specifically designed for JSL, featuring a point-support convection design that helps maintain a consistent extraction speed. Alternatively, you can also choose a non-circular type stand for hand brewing.
