Cabasse designed the Surf based on the HDSE (Homogeneous Distribution of Sonic Energy) principle. They focus not only on various on-axis measurements but also on off-axis acoustic performance, ensuring uniform dispersion of direct and reflected sound, presenting a wide and stable soundstage for the listeners to experience consistent acoustic performance from any angle. Surf performs well in spaces under 25 square meters and is a blessing for urban dwellers with limited budgets.

The Surf bookshelf speaker features a 'DOM37' tweeter paired with a 'round horn' waveguide, allowing high-frequency energy to disperse evenly and extend. For mid-bass, it employs a '13TN15' long-throw driver with a Kapton voice coil bobbin, which is non-magnetic, delivering clean and crisp transient response. The crossover point is set at 3.6kHz, and the driver positions use a Virtual Coincidence approach to keep the two-way drivers as close as possible.

These passive bookshelf speakers are easy to drive. It sounds great when paired with the entry level amplifier like WiiM AMP. One'll be able to experience the Surf's rich musical details and the delicate, captivating realism of vocals and instruments.
