The A6000 is the latest addition to final’s A series of in-ear headphones, designed to bring the sonic experience of the flagship A8000 to a broader audience of audio enthusiasts.
In 2019, final released the world’s first flagship earphones with a pure beryllium diaphragm— the A8000. The lightweight and extremely fast beryllium diaphragm delivers unparalleled transparency, allowing listeners to hear precise details, from sharp attacks to lingering decays and even the silence between notes. The A8000 has won acclaim for its “transparent sound,” providing a clean, simple, and highly accurate listening experience.
As a flagship model, the A8000 uses a design that directly fixes the driver to a stainless steel housing for maximum performance. The A6000, on the other hand, has been specially developed with a new stainless steel support frame for its “f-Core DU” dynamic driver, combined with a lightweight resin shell for enhanced comfort. The internal metal frame boosts shell rigidity, ensuring robust driver support, and achieves a refined and well-defined sound signature while keeping it within a more accessible price range.
final aims to bring this superior high-resolution listening experience to more people by making it more approachable. This commitment has given rise to other models in the A series, such as the A3000, A4000, and A5000. The A6000 stands out as the second best of A series, currently. Through a brand-new internal design and improved cabling, it successfully addresses and eliminates harsh resonances in the high frequencies.
The A6000 features a newly designed structure. Unlike the A8000, where the driver is directly fixed to a stainless steel housing, the A6000 introduces the newly developed “Metallic Transducer Mount” design, where the 6mm “f-Core DU” dynamic driver is secured within a metal frame. This complex stainless steel setup boosts stability and reduces distortion, delivering a refined and responsive sound profile.
The front chamber is made of high-density, non-magnetic brass, and the lightweight movable components are manufactured with meticulous precision. The coil uses ultra-fine 30μ CCAW wire, and adhesive application has been minimized to ensure membrane uniformity and smoothness, resulting in a precise transient response.
Featuring a φ0.78 2-Pin configuration, the specially developed OCC flexible single-crystal copper cable effectively eliminates sharp high-frequency resonances, providing a smoother, more balanced “transparent sound” experience.
The A6000 employs a lightweight yet sturdy thermoplastic resin shell, enhanced with a special coating for improved durability, scratch resistance, and fingerprint prevention. This offers a sleek appearance and an ultra-lightweight wearing experience.
