The Olina SE is a collaborative earphone model. HBB (Hawaiian Bad Boy from “Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews”) utilized his years of experience and extensive IEM frequency measurement database to develop a balanced, clear, and pleasing acoustic sound profile. For the release of the Olina Special Edition, HBB adjusted the tuning to reflect more insights from his audio tuning research and improved the sound of the Olina. The Olina SE features an entirely new sound signature and a stylish new design, enhancing the original Olina’s tradition.

2nd Generation CNT Driver

The Olina SE uses the second-generation Carbon Nanotube (CNT) dynamic driver, first introduced in the original Olina. This 10mm driver has been updated to strengthen the diaphragm structure, particularly at the suspension edge, increasing the surface membrane tension for faster driver response. This driver is capable of delivering a dynamic range from 10Hz to 40kHz, providing a comprehensive Hi-Fi listening experience.

More Balanced Sound Signature

The biggest update in the Olina SE is the improvement in tuning. Compared to the original Olina, the new CNT driver in the Olina SE produces greater bass impact, measured at a 3dB increase at 10Hz. This update significantly eliminates bass blur and allows for stronger bass impact. Additionally, the treble in the Olina SE has been improved to remove peaks in vocals and high harmonic frequencies, reflecting a more natural treble response compared to the original Olina. Listeners will appreciate more uniform high frequencies with no reduction in detail compared to the original Olina.

Full Aluminum Shell

The Olina SE features a new unique emblem reflecting HBB’s Hawaiian heritage. This design is directly etched into the aluminum faceplate, matching the aluminum shell. The entire aluminum shell is anodized to a smooth black finish, resistant to scratches.

2PIN Upgrade Cable Design

The Olina SE comes standard with a detachable 0.78mm 2pin cable. The cable is made of 4-core oxygen-free OCC copper, with high purity and good conductivity, resulting in a more transparent and clear sound. The connector is a 3.5mm single-ended plug.
